Enable Tab View

Prevent multiple windows being opened for each new PDF opened by enabling tab view.

Navigate to Program Features via:

Settings > Configure Okular > General > Program Features

Check the Open new files in tabs option, as well as the Switch to existing tab if the file is already open option if it is not already checked.

Enable Continuous Scrolling

Prevent disorientation caused by jumps between pages by enabling continuous scrolling.

Navigate to View Mode via:

View > View Mode

Check the Continuous option.
